About Joan Fox
Joan was born in Malaysia to Chinese parents but grew up in Singapore. She moved to the U.S. in 1980. She trained as a speech pathologist but decided to pursue the Physician Assistant route as a second career. Joan is a graduate of Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine in Chicago, which is her most favorite city in the world. In 2017, she relocated to Houston with her husband who is a retired veterinarian. They have 5 Scottish Fold cats and in her spare time, Joan enjoys gardening and reading about British History.
Joan has been with us since 2017 and plays an integral part in patient care. She works alongside Dr. Ghayas on the psychiatric side and our patients absolutely adores her.
